The Bakewell Tart hails from the town of Bakewell in Derbyshire, England, and is a beloved classic in British baking. Traditionally made with a layer of jam topped with a frangipane filling, it embodies the spirit of British tea-time treats. Over the years, variations have emerged, including the Bakewell Pudding, which features a puff pastry base.
