Easy Amish sugar cookies

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar.

Add the eggs and vanilla to the mixture and mix well.

In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.

Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
