Instructions

  1. 1Press tofu to remove excess moisture for 15-20 minutes.
  2. 2Slice tofu into thick slabs.
  3. 3Marinate tofu in soy sauce for 10 minutes.
  4. 4Coat tofu slabs in cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  5. 5Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  6. 6Pan-fry tofu slabs until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
