Continue layering phyllo and nut mixture until all ingredients are used, finishing with phyllo on top.
Cut the layered pastry into diamond shapes before baking.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F until golden brown, about 30-40 minutes.
While baking, prepare the syrup by boiling water and sugar until thickened.
Add honey and rose water to the syrup, stirring well.
Remove the baked pastry from the oven and immediately pour the hot syrup over it.
Let the dessert sit for several hours to absorb the syrup before serving.
