Soak 6-8 Chinese mushrooms in cold water for half an hour.

Soak 1-2 bags of bean curd sticks in cold water for half an hour and then cut into small pieces.

Prepare 2 pork tongues by boiling them in water for 10 minutes, then peel off the skin.
