Start by getting a glass jar for the golden milk.
Pour 1/2 cup of coconut milk into the jar.
Add 1/4 cup of almond milk to fill it up to 3/4 of a cup.
Add a pinch of pink Himalayan sea salt.
Add 1 teaspoon of pure maple syrup.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg.
Whisk the mixture to ensure there are no clumps, or give it a good shake.
Refrigerate the golden milk overnight.
In the morning, take the jar out and shake it again.
Pour the golden milk into a pan with a lid and bring it to a boil.
Take 1/4 cup of raw organic buckwheat groats and rinse them under water using a fine mesh strainer until the sliminess is gone.
Once the golden milk is boiling, add the rinsed buckwheat groats to the pan.
Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes until it thickens.
Pour the porridge into a bowl and enjoy.
