Classic Negroni Recipe | Gin Cocktails
Recipe Information
Negroni
Cultural Context
The Negroni is a classic Italian cocktail that originated in Florence in the early 20th century. It is known for its balance of bitter and sweet flavors.
Pause the video and go get some ice.
Add 3/4 ounces of Campari to the mixing glass.
Add 3/4 ounces of gin to the mixing glass.
Add 3/4 ounces of sweet vermouth to the mixing glass.
Stir the mixture in the mixing glass.
Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.
Optionally garnish with an orange peel, but it's not necessary.
