Heat oil in a pan or pot.

Add 3 red onions and fry until golden brown.

Add 0.5 kg of beef and mix well.

Add 1 tbsp of ginger and garlic paste, 1 tsp of tomato paste, and 1 large chopped tomato, then mix.

Add 1 tsp of pilau masala and salt to taste, then mix again.

Add enough water to boil the beef until tender, then cover the pot.

Cook until the meat is tender and the water starts to dry up, then mix to check if the meat is well cooked.

Add 0.5 cup of plain yogurt and mix well, then cover and cook on medium heat until the stew thickens.

Remove from heat and set the beef stew aside.

In a separate pot, heat some oil and add pilau spices and one bay leaf, stirring for about 1 minute.

Add 1 cup of basmati rice and enough water to boil the rice, then add salt to taste and stir.

Boil the rice until it is half cooked, then remove from heat.

In another pot, add the half-cooked rice and spread it evenly.

Pour the beef stew over the rice and spread it well.

Add the remaining rice on top of the stew.

Mix yellow food color with water and pour it over the Biryani.

Cover the pot and cook on low heat until the rice is fully cooked.
