Chicken Nuggets

Chicken nuggets originated in the United States in the 1950s, created by food scientist Robert C. Baker. They quickly became a popular fast-food item, especially among children. Today, chicken nuggets are enjoyed globally, with various regional adaptations and dipping sauces.

500 g chicken breast
240 g cornflakes
4 tbsp Royco Usavi Mix Chicken flavour
¾ tsp salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
1½ tsp dried oregano
1 medium egg
100 ml water

Get your ingredients together. Cut the chicken breast into bite pieces and set aside.

Put flour into a bowl. Add 2 tbsp Royco Usavi Mix, salt, and oregano. Give a quick mix. Make a well in the middle.

Add the egg and beat it gently. Pour the water while beating simultaneously, making sure there are no lumps.

Crush the cornflakes and put them into a separate bowl. Add 1 tbsp Royco Usavi Mix and mix.

Dip each chicken piece into the flour batter, then coat it with the cornflakes. Place on a platter. Repeat the process until all the chicken is coated.

Heat oil in a pan. Fry the nuggets until golden brown (about 2 - 3 minutes on each side). Enjoy!
