1 1/2 - 2 pounds boneless chicken breasts (cut in 1 inch cubes)
1 egg
2 cups buttermilk or milk
2 tsp salt
1 tsp MSG (optional)
1 1/2 cups flour
2 TBS powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp MSG (optional)
Canola oil (enough to fill your pan 2 - 2 1/2 inches)

Mix together egg, buttermilk (or milk), 2 tsp salt, and 1 tsp MSG (if using).

Put chicken in the milk mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.

For the breading, mix together flour, powdered sugar, paprika, 1 tsp salt, black pepper, baking soda, and 1 tsp MSG (if using).

Heat canola oil in a pan to 325 - 350 degrees.

Coat the marinated chicken in the breading mixture.

Cook the breaded chicken in the heated oil for 4-6 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees.
