1/2 cup coconut milk
1 tbs ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1 tbs cumin powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 green cardamom
1 inch cinnamon stick
1 tbs fresh coriander
3-4 tbs oil
salt to taste

Make onion paste and tomato purée (separately).

Put pan on stove. Add oil in it.

Add cardamom and cinnamon stick. Sauté for a minute.

Add onion paste. Fry for a minute or two, and then add ginger-garlic paste.

Fry them until the paste turns pink.

Add tomato purée. Add turmeric, red chili powder and salt.

Fry them until the paste/masala thickens and releases oil from sides.

Add water. Cook it until it begins to boil.

Add fish to the curry. Cook it for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Add Garam Masala. After a minute or two add fresh Coriander and turn off the stove.
