Camarones al Mojo de Ajo

Zest of 1 lemon
juice of ½ lemon
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ tsp chili powder
½ tsp chili flakes
¼ white onion, minced
8 garlic cloves, minced
2 pounds jumbo shrimp, shell on and deveined

Melt the unsalted butter in a pan over medium heat.

Add the minced white onion and sauté until translucent.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

Add the lemon zest, lemon juice, and all the spices (salt, lemon pepper, black pepper, onion powder, cayenne pepper, chili powder, chili flakes) to the pan.

Add the jumbo shrimp to the pan and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side.
