Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Spray a baking dish generously with cooking spray.
Rinse the strawberries, hull them, and slice to get about 1 cup.
Measure out about 1/2 cup of walnuts and give them a rough chop.
Chop chocolate or use chocolate chips to measure about 1/3 cup.
In a large bowl, add 2 cups of oats, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 tablespoon orange zest, 1 teaspoon Chinese five spice, and a little salt.
Add half of the chopped walnuts, half of the chopped chocolate, and half of the sliced strawberries to the dry mixture and stir.
In another bowl, combine 1 egg, 3 tablespoons melted butter, and 2 cups of milk, along with a couple dashes of vanilla extract, and whisk until combined.
Slice a banana.
Put all of the oat mixture into the baking dish, then top with the remaining walnuts, chocolate, strawberries, and sliced banana.
Pour the wet ingredients over the oat mixture and shimmy or shake the dish so the milk mixture goes throughout the oats.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is nicely golden brown and the milk mixture is set.
Optionally, add a little brown sugar to the top, set your oven to broil, and cook for about 1 minute until bubbly.
Serve warm.
