In a pan, add 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.

When it starts bubbling, add the juice of half a lemon, turn down the heat, and simmer for around 10 minutes until clear.

In a mixing bowl, beat 200 g of sugar with 100 ml of vegetable oil until well combined.

Add 200 g of Greek yogurt and whisk until combined.

Add 500 g of semolina and stir until mixed.

Add 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and 3/4 teaspoon of mtia, then stir until combined.

Add 1 tablespoon of tahini and mix gently, avoiding getting it on the sides of the dish.

Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
