Soak chickpeas overnight in water.
Drain the soaked chickpeas and rinse them.
Combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and cumin in a food processor.
Blend until smooth, adding water gradually to reach desired consistency.
Drizzle in olive oil while blending to emulsify.
Season with salt to taste and blend again.
Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl.
Drizzle additional olive oil on top if desired.
