7g (1 packet~ 2tsp) instant or active dry yeast
3 Tablespoon soft butter
2.5 cup (310g) all-purpose flour (+2 tablespoon for dusting)
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 large egg beaten (for egg wash)

Combine milk, egg, sugar, flour, yeast, salt and butter. Mix well and knead for 6-7 minutes to make a smooth dough.

Cover and let the dough rest in a warm place until doubled, around 45 mins.

Punch the air out and roll the dough. Make circles using a glass/cookie cutter.

Arrange the circles in a round, 23cm deep oven proof dish. Brush with melted butter.
