Peel and boil the potatoes until tender.
Prepare the cucumber by slicing it and mixing it with lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper.
In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, pepper, ground meat, thyme, lemon zest, and mix well to form the meatballs.
Heat butter in a frying pan and fry the meatballs until golden brown.
In the same pan, add beef broth and bring to a simmer.
Mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry, then add to the sauce to thicken it.
Serve the meatballs with the creamy sauce, pickled cucumber, and boiled potatoes.
