In another bowl, beat 2 eggs and add 1/2 cup sparkling water.

Dip onion rings in flour mixture, then in egg mixture, and finally coat with bread crumbs.

Heat oil in a deep fryer or pan to 350°F.

Fry onion rings until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
