Bring water to a boil in a pan.

Add room temperature eggs to the boiling water carefully to avoid cracking.

Set a timer for 4 and a half minutes for the eggs to boil.

While the eggs are boiling, toast the bread.

Spread a nice amount of butter on the toasted bread.

Cut the toast into strips to create 'soldiers'.

After 4 and a half minutes, remove the eggs from the boiling water.

Wrap the eggs gently to cool slightly and then place them in egg cups.

Carefully crack the tops of the eggs open.
