Pour cold milk into a heavy bottom pan and add semolina and vanilla sugar.
Cook the milk while stirring continuously until it thickens like a light pudding, then let it cool to room temperature.
Combine flour, salt, baking soda, and sugar in a bowl.
Add eggs, honey, soft almost melted butter, and the cooled milk to the dry ingredients and knead into a dough.
Cut the dough into four pieces and cover the leftover dough with plastic wrap.
Flatten the first piece of dough into a rectangular shape with your hands, then roll it out into a rectangle using parchment paper.
Transfer the rolled dough with parchment paper onto the back of the baking pan.
Bake in a preheated 355°F oven for 6 minutes until golden brown, being careful not to overbake.
Repeat the same steps with the remaining pieces of dough.
Beat soft butter with sugar until it reaches an ice creamy consistency and add rum.
Spoon the semolina cream into the butter mixture in batches and beat well.
Place the first layer of baked dough into a deep baking dish and spread half of the semolina cream over it.
Add the second layer of dough and spread apricot jam on top.
Add the third layer of dough and spread the rest of the semolina cream over it.
Close with the fourth layer of dough.
Melt dark chocolate ingredients in a saucepan until thick and shiny, then pour over the cake and smooth it with a spatula.
Place the cake in the fridge for at least 12 hours to soften the layers before serving.
