💰Cheaper: canned tuna

Tofu is a plant-based alternative, while canned tuna is budget-friendly.

1

Season the yellowtail snapper and dr fish with Maggie fish seasoning and all-purpose seasoning, then set aside.

2

Prepare the other ingredients: corn, carrot, chocho, turnip, pimento seeds, pumpkin (some cut large for smashing), potatoes, okra, scallion, and fresh thyme.

3

Boil water in a pan, then add the fish and some pumpkin, allowing it to boil for about 5 minutes.

4

While the fish is boiling, prepare dumplings by making both splinter and round shapes.

5

After 5 minutes, remove the fish from the pot and debone it carefully, setting the flesh aside.

6

Add corn, chocho, turnip, carrot, potatoes, and pieces of pumpkin (both large and small) to the pot, stirring and allowing to cook.

7

After about 10 minutes, sift the fish tea to remove bits, then add one pack of Maggie seasoning to the pot.

8

Add scallion and thyme, taste the pot, and adjust seasoning with more all-purpose seasoning if needed, avoiding salt due to the fish tea pack.

9

Add okra and pimento seeds, then return the deboned fish and prawns to the pot, cooking for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
