In a large bowl, add all of the ingredients and mix together until a smooth batter is formed.
Cover with cling film and store the mixture in the coldest part of the fridge for 30 minutes to a few hours, until ready to use.
Preheat the bubble waffle machine for about 2 minutes and brush it with a little cooking oil.
Turn off the heat, pour in the batter, filling each hole evenly, and keep the lid closed while you wait.
Set over heat for 2 minutes, then turn it off and rest for another 2 minutes until golden and crispy on the outside.
Remove the finished egg waffle from the pan, holding it upside down above a plate.
Using tongs or a spatula, gently loosen it from the pan, starting on the top edge. Repeat with the remaining batter, re-greasing the pans first, and cool on a rack before serving.
