Melt half a stick of butter and let it cool.
Divide the dough into four pieces and roll each piece out thin.
Spread melted butter on the rolled dough and sprinkle with flour.
Layer the rolled dough on top of each other with butter and flour in between.
Roll the stacked dough out again until thin.
Cut the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pieces and shape them into flat disks.
Deep fry the disks in hot oil until golden brown.
