Let the batter rest while you grease and line the pans. Any bowl or pan or bamboo steamer works fine. Anything that will fit into your steaming contraption or a pot.

Let the batter rest in the pans while you set up your steamers.

Steam on medium for a few minutes and then turn down to low. Cooking time will vary based on what kind of container you’re using. Mine went about 35 minutes but go until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
