Prepare a double boiler by filling a pot with water and placing a bowl on top.

Add 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/3 cup of butter to the bowl.

Heat on low, stirring until the chocolate and butter are melted and smooth.

Once melted, remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup of peanut butter until combined.

Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and mix well.

In a large bowl, combine 3 9 cups of Chex cereal.
