1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup almonds
1 cup chickpeas

Rinse basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear; soak for 30 minutes.

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat until shimmering.
