Mix 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder in a bowl.
Add cold butter and mix until it has fine crumbs.
Add 2 egg yolks and 1 egg white to the mixture.
Incorporate sour cream and mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough slightly and form into small walnut-sized balls; place in the freezer while preparing the filling.
For the filling, toast walnuts and mix with cinnamon, clove powder, and cardamom.
Roll out the dough to about 3.5 to 4 inches in diameter.
Place a small amount of filling in the center of each circle.
Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and seal the edges.
Bake at 375°F for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly golden.
Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
