Preheat the oven and line a sheet pan with foil.
Melt 1 stick of butter and mix in 1 cup of brown sugar to create a caramel sauce.

Soak each slice of bread in the egg mixture for about 20 seconds, ensuring they are well-coated.
Place the soaked bread slices in the sheet pan on top of the caramel mixture.
Bake in the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, flipping the French toast halfway through the cooking time.
After flipping, return the French toast to the oven for an additional 20 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
Serve the French toast with your choice of syrup and fresh fruit.
