While rooted in Hungarian culture, variations have emerged globally, making it a popular treat in many countries.

Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
Combine yeast mixture with flour mixture, add eggs and melted butter, and knead until smooth.
Cover the dough and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the dough into long strips.
Wrap the strips around wooden cones, overlapping slightly, to form a spiral.
Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before removing from the cones.
