Boil water for the pasta and add salt.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
Slice garlic thinly and add to the skillet, cooking until fragrant.
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink on one side, then flip to cook the other side until nice and crunchy.
Remove shrimp from the skillet once cooked.
Add more olive oil to the skillet and add cherry tomatoes, cooking until they start to pop.
Add red pepper flakes and a little salt and black pepper to the tomatoes, stirring everything together.
Pour the cooked shrimp back into the skillet with the tomatoes and mix well.
Add white wine to the skillet and let it cook down with the shrimp and tomatoes.
Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and mix everything together, ensuring to add a little reserved pasta water if needed.
Turn off the heat and add fresh arugula on top, mixing gently to combine.
