Fish Kabab

500g fish fillets (such as salmon or tilapia)
1/4 cup yogurt
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped

Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

In a separate bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.

Add the marinade to the fish pieces and mix well to coat all the fish evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Thread the marinated fish pieces onto the skewers, alternating with pieces of onion and cilantro for added flavor.

Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

Remove the kababs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Serve hot with lemon wedges and your choice of dipping sauce.
