Boil a pan of water.

Drop in 1 egg and set a timer for 7 minutes for a jammy centered ramen egg.

Prepare a bowl of cold water for the egg after cooking.

Remove the outer skin from the spring onion and finely slice it.

Slice a red chili thinly.

Chop some coriander.

Once the egg is cooked, remove it from the hot water and plunge it into the cold water to stop cooking.

Bring a couple of centimeters of water to a boil.

Add the sachet of flavoring or stock powder from the noodle packet to the boiling water.

Add 1 teaspoon of tahini to the boiling water.

Add the instant noodles to the pan and bring back to a boil, loosening the noodles with a fork as they cook.

Once the noodles are cooked and still a little brothy, pour them into a deep bowl.

Top the noodles with the cooked ramen egg, spring onions, coriander, chili, crispy shallots, and black sesame seeds.

Drizzle the sachet of sesame oil over the top.
