JPJPmain
6 servings
Servings4
Indomie noodles
Bulldog seasoning packet
Oil
Chili flakes
Chili powder
1.5 to 2 cloves garlic
Kimchi
Truffle oil
Zaatar
Sesame infused mayonnaise
1

Prepare the Indomie noodles by boiling or simmering them for 1 minute, intentionally undercooking them to maintain a snappy texture.

2

Do not add salt to the boiling water as this is not pasta.

3

In a separate pan, heat a lot of oil (double what you think is enough).

4

Keep the water from the noodles as it will be used later for the sauce.

5

Add the undercooked noodles to the pan with the heated oil.

6

Unpack the Bulldog seasoning and add it to the pan along with the oil from the seasoning packet.

7

Add chili flakes and chili powder to taste for spiciness.

8

Add 1.5 to 2 cloves of garlic to the pan, being careful not to cook at high heat to avoid burning the garlic.

9

Once the garlic starts to smell different and change color, add the Indomie seasoning to the pan.

10

Mix everything together, ensuring not to let the garlic overcook to avoid bitterness.

11

Add the undercooked noodles to the pan with a bit of the reserved starchy water.

12

Increase the heat and add most of the seasoning but not all of it.

13

Add kimchi to the noodle mixture, adjusting the amount to preference, and avoid adding additional salt or soy sauce.

14

Add a bit of truffle oil and zaatar to the mixture, using a generous amount of zaatar for flavor.

15

Finish with a bit of sesame infused mayonnaise for texture.

16

Serve the noodles, emphasizing that they should look messy and appetizing.
