Introduce the dish: sauté stew chicken with tomatoes, served with rice and broccoli.
Prepare the Power XL by removing the top and setting it to sauté at 375°F for 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Add 1 cup of water to the pot.
Slice 2 chicken breasts into 4-5 pieces and add them to the pot.
Eyeball some olive oil and add it to the pot.
Add the chicken pieces to the pot and sprinkle with salt, then brown them.
Remove the browned chicken and set it aside on a plate.
Add chopped onions to the pot and sauté until slightly brown.
Add minced garlic to the onions and mix until fragrant.
Return the browned chicken to the pot.
Sprinkle seasoning salt, garlic salt, and ground pepper over the chicken.
Pour in the 1 cup of water.
Add chopped green onions and the 2 chopped fresh tomatoes to the pot.
Add 1 can of stewed tomatoes to the mixture.
Cover the pot and let it sauté for a few minutes.
Wash dishes while cooking to keep the kitchen tidy.
After 25 minutes, check the stew and mix it up.
Add another cup of water if necessary, as the water level decreases.
After 48 minutes, check the stew again and cancel the cooking process.
Transfer the stew to a bowl and garnish with extra green onions.
Serve the stew over rice and taste it.
