2 tablespoons green cardamom pods
2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons turmeric

Heat whole spices (coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black peppercorns, green cardamom pods, cloves) in a pan over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes until fragrant.
