Today, it has gained international popularity, often found in Chinese restaurants around the world, celebrated for its aromatic spices and succulent meat.

Start by making the sauce with light soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
Add five spice powder (2 teaspoons, can use up to 3 or 4 for a stronger taste).
Add fresh ginger and mix well.
Omit salt if controlling sodium intake, otherwise add 1 teaspoon of salt.
Wash and clean the ducks, then massage the marinade onto each duck, including inside the cavity.
Cover and marinate the ducks overnight or for at least 5 hours.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) or prepare the grill for indirect heat.
Cook the ducks in the oven or grill for about 1 hour, checking for an internal temperature of 170°F (77°C).
Halfway through cooking, flip the ducks over carefully to avoid spilling the liquid.
Cover the ducks and continue cooking until done, then allow to cool completely before cutting.
