Grate the onion and mix it well with soy sauce, sake, mirin, honey, ginger, garlic, and water.

Season the pork with salt and pepper, then coat it with flour.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over high heat, add the pork and cook until browned, then flip it over, add sake, cover, and steam for 1 minute.

Remove excess oil with a paper towel and add the sauce mixture from step 1.

Quickly toss the meat with the sauce, then remove the pork and reduce the sauce over high heat.

Pour the sauce over the plated pork and serve.
