Blueberry Flaxseed Oatmeal

2 cups old fashioned oats
4 cups water
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp flax seeds
1/4 tsp fresh nutmeg
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

Add a pinch of salt (optional) to help bring out the flavor while cooking.

Measure out your oatmeal and allow the oatmeal to cook for about five minutes.

Add flaxseeds, stir, and then add maple syrup.

Put in your fresh or frozen blueberries.

Season with cinnamon and grated nutmeg.
