Add milk and mix until the sugar is melted.
Add oil and continue mixing until all sugar is melted.
Add flour mixed with vanilla sugar and baking powder little by little.
Add lemon zest for flavor.
Transfer the batter to a working surface and add more flour until the desired consistency is reached.
Sift flour before adding to avoid clumps.
Sprinkle flour on the work surface and cover the dough with plastic wrap, refrigerate for one hour.
After an hour, roll out the dough on a floured surface.
Cut circles using a cookie cutter, ensuring thickness does not exceed half a centimeter.
Use a piping nozzle to cut holes in the center of the circles.
Heat oil for frying, testing readiness with a small piece of dough.
Fry the pieces until golden on both sides.
Dip the fried pieces in syrup or drizzle with honey.
