1

Welcome back to my channel, today I'm going to show you how to make brown stew sliced fish.

2

Prepare your seasoning: mix 1 teaspoon onion granules, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon fish seasoning, 1 teaspoon garlic granules, and some black pepper.

3

Pat your fish dry before applying the seasoning to avoid splattering when frying.

4

Season the fish with the prepared seasoning mixture.

5

Heat vegetable oil in a pot and add minced garlic and Scotch bonnet pepper to season the oil.

6

Fry the fish for about 4 minutes on each side until browned, but do not over-fry to avoid drying it out.

7

Remove the fish and set aside, then sauté onion and bell peppers for about 2 minutes.

8

Add 1 tablespoon of grated ginger and 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, and sauté for another 2 minutes.

9

Incorporate ketchup and jerk sauce (or barbecue sauce), and mix everything together.

10

Add sugar and chili flakes (or more Scotch bonnet pepper if desired), then let it simmer for 5 minutes.

11

Add Browning sauce to achieve a nice color, and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

12

Taste the sauce to ensure it's to your liking, then add the fish back into the pot.

13

Spoon the sauce over the fish to coat it, and let it bubble for about 5 minutes, covered or uncovered as preferred.
