Recipe: Green Bean Fries

Wash your hands before cooking.

Gather all ingredients: green beans, flour, cornmeal, milk, salt, pepper, garlic salt, paprika, eggs, and oil.

Wash the green beans and trim the ends, leaving them long to mimic french fries.

Put some flour on a plate.

In a bowl, crack the eggs and wash your hands afterwards to avoid salmonella.

Mix milk into the egg mixture.

In another bowl, add 1 cup of cornmeal, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, and mix it together.

Dredge a few green beans in the flour, shake off the excess, then dip them in the egg mixture, and finally coat them in the cornmeal mixture.

Spray or coat a baking sheet with oil to prevent sticking.

Lay the coated green beans on the baking sheet.

Continue the dredging process until all green beans are coated.

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Bake the green beans for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.

Remove the green beans from the oven and place them on a plate.

Serve with onion dip or as a side dish or snack.
