In a bowl add barley; wash and soak it for at least 3 to 4 hours or overnight.

Take dates and deseed them. Add them in a grinder along with milk and make a thick paste.

In a pan add milk and bring it to boil. Add soaked barley and cook for 20 to 25 minutes until barley fully gets tender on low flame.

Blend the mixture to make it more smooth in consistency.

Add date paste and honey in milk and cook on medium flame until thickens.

Add pistachios, almonds, raisins, coconut and mix it well. Talbina is ready. Let it cool down before serving.
