210g (3/4 cup) of tomato sauce
210ml (3/4 cup) of meat broth

210ml (3/4 cup) of white wine
210ml (3/4 cup) of red beer
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce

2 sausages
160g of beef steak
2 eggs
4 slices of sandwich bread

In a blender add the tomato sauce, meat broth, paprika and chili flakes and blend until smooth.

In a saucepan add the butter, onion, garlic and flour and cook for a few minutes.

Add the white wine, red beer, bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce and blended sauce and cook until obtain nice and thick sauce. Remove from the heat.

In a pan add the oil, sausages and beef steak and brown all on both sides. Remove from the heat. Proceed to cook the eggs sunny side up.

Brown two pieces of the sandwich bread and start assembling all to compose the francesinha.

For each sandwich, place half of the browned meat and ham on a slice of bread. Close with the other slice of bread and place the thin slices of cheese.

Transfer the sandwiches to the baking tray covered with parchment paper. Bake at 180°C/360°F for 3 minutes.

Add an egg on top after baking and pour the sauce on top. Serve and enjoy.
