Layer the leaves in a circular shape to form a larger circle.
Bring in both ends of the layered leaves and fold the top in to start rolling into a log.
Wrap the log tightly in foil to protect it while cooking.
Place the wrapped log in simmering water and cook for 30 minutes, flipping it after 15 minutes to ensure even cooking.
After cooking, remove the log from the water and let it cool slightly before unwrapping it from the foil.
Cut the log into desired thickness for serving.
If there's leftover paste, spread a thin layer on both sides of the cut pieces, or remix if necessary.
Place the pieces on a lined tray, spritz with oil, and bake in the oven or air fryer at 400°F for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
Serve hot, as it is best enjoyed warm.
