Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds.

In a pan, sauté chopped onion until translucent.

Add ground meat and cook until browned.

Stir in cooked rice, tomato sauce, and spices; mix well.

Stuff the mixture into the hollowed peppers.

Place stuffed peppers upright in a baking dish.

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

Serve hot.
