Baked Penne Pasta

2 cups penne pasta
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked penne pasta, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the pasta is evenly coated.

In a greased baking dish, layer half of the pasta mixture. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese on top.

Add the remaining pasta mixture on top and finish with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Drizzle olive oil over the top of the pasta.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
