Baked Penne Pasta

1 lb organic ground grass-fed beef
2 cups penne noodles
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 medium onion, diced
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp organic olive oil

Cut the onion.

Add organic olive oil to a skillet.

Put the onions in the skillet and sauté.

Add the organic grass-fed beef to the skillet and cook until browned.

Drain the grease from the cooked beef.

Return some of the meat back to the pan.

Add diced tomatoes to the pan along with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and pepper to taste.

Stir the mixture in the pan.

Add penne noodles to the mixture.

Add 1.5 cups of water to the pan.

Cover the pan and cook for 11 minutes, stirring once.

If the noodles look dry after a few minutes, add about half a cup of water.

Add ricotta cheese to the mixture.

Top with mozzarella cheese.

Cover the pan until the cheese is melted.
