1

Fill a bowl with water and add lemon juice and salt.

2

Soak the tilapia fillets in the water mixture for about 15 minutes to reduce fishy smell.

3

Slice garlic and sweet pepper (a long sweet pepper) and add to a bowl.

4

Peel and dice half a lemon, adding it to the bowl as well.

5

Add olive oil, black pepper, and fresh lemon juice from half a medium lemon to the bowl.

6

Mix all the ingredients in the bowl well.

7

Wash the tilapia fillets to remove the salt and lemon juice after soaking.

8

Place half of the mixture on a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet.

9

Lay the tilapia fillets skin-side down on top of the mixture.

10

Pour the remaining mixture over the fish.

11

Twist the corners of the parchment paper to create walls to hold the juices around the fish.

12

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

13

Bake the fish in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes.

14

While the fish is baking, roast sliced almonds in a non-stick pan over low heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

15

Once the almonds are golden, transfer them to a plate to stop cooking.

16

After 30 minutes, remove the fish from the oven and top with roasted almonds and fresh parsley.
