Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

Chop an onion finely and start roasting it in a big pan.

Add the ground meat, salt, and red pepper flakes; cook for a few minutes and mix well.

Beat an egg with a cup of yogurt and add half a glass of cooking oil; this mix will be used to spread between layers of phyllo.

Oil the tray and start placing the phyllos into the tray, spreading some of the yogurt-egg mix in every layer.

For the top of the börek, beat an egg mixed with a tablespoon of yogurt and spread it all around.
