Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Prepare ingredients: slice garlic thinly, measure out beef broth and water, and have steak rub ready.

Make little slits in the top of the steak and insert sliced garlic into the slits.

Generously sprinkle steak seasoning, salt, and pepper on both sides of the meat.

Pour beef broth and water into the bottom of a pan.

Place an old rack in the pan and set the seasoned meat on top of the rack.

Brown the roast in the oven at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, lower the heat to 225 degrees and cook for another 2 to 3 hours.

Remove roast from oven and let it rest for about 15 minutes before carving.
